These three performance dwell primarily on Jins Rast in the upper octave, with only a few sentences at the ends of sections descending to the lower octave. The same upper-octave version of Maqam Rast is shown in the Rast/Dalansheen Analyses. Contrast the feeling of the Maqam, and the sentences used, with the mid-register and low-register versions of rast shown in the other sections.
